Yeah and we had a bunch of jag DBs. So adding another jag db wouldn’t have done anything. Just because someone is on another team doesn’t mean they’d have helped our team…so again, is this kid actually someone who would help or is he just someone that was a highly rated recruit once upon a time and hasn’t done jack **** at a level that matters?

Also looked bette r than the guys we trotted out their at cb which wasnt hard to do.

Tried to come back last year and they passed. But took Dyoni Hill.

I dont trust this staffs db evals so.....yea.

That’s absolutely insane. If that’s the case that furthers prove Guidry is stuck in his G5 mindset.

Fair enough. I guess the Miami -> ECU -> UCF -> Unknown Destination all in 3 semesters makes me incredibly skeptical, but what do I know.

Agreed that we need a big influx of DBs, and that our staffs evals have been dog****, but I guess I just would prefer to see actual proven production (the Houston kid, thr Sam Houston kid, the Purdue or Minnesota safeties if they become available, etc.) and not just the eyeball test or evals from high school.

Bolded part, definitely agree... what scheme are we trying to run to put these young men in a position to succeed?

Hes got enough tape. Started at ECU as a freshman for a couple games and played most of the season, same wtih at UCF.

If the coaches want him, it won't be from HS footage
