You mean Tony Grimes? And no Grimes was considered Elite and the #1 corner in his class. He was also much more filled out than Jackson. 15 pounds heavier, better hips, and at least as fast. Grimes has been a major disappointment, if you go by what his ceiling was.

I’m saying that bc it’s true. He flashed his freshman year and has been consistently average since. He even got benched a couple weeks ago for his attitude. Not his fault though. Dre Bly is a magician getting kids to sign the dotted line, but can’t coach to save his life.

Shaq vastly underrated. Missed him immediately in 2020.

Popo and Wes….we will be so different once those guys are starting together. Probably won’t happen until 2024 but I’m here for it.

Perfect combo IMO.

And Bobby Washington and Malik Bryant... We have some good variety at LB coming in.

didnt grimes only enter bc of Covid canceling the year? Or was that someone else

I think he took one or two summer classes and graduated. He might have actually made the decision before his senior season was officially cancelled. But it was clear that was gonna happen so he went ahead and did it.
