ANTHONY ROSE 6'3 CB

I like this kid at safety...wouldn't rule out corner but as far as tall corners go, I like the Graves kid we just offered better. Rose looks good but may be behind some others at safety? His own teammates Marshall and Allen for instance
 
Committed to South Carolina. Jaylin Marshall to ASU. These guys are committing so early without any visits, just securing spots?

That leaves Alfonzo Allen and Edric Weldon out of the Hallandale crew. Plus Lymon and Kamari, whose recruitment will be a marathon. On the otherhand it's been extremely quiet on the Lymon front, I suppose just pandemic related. I would love Kamari, Fonzo and maybe Weldon as the striker? I know the board loves Lymon and he's not a plan B, we'll have to wait and see how T-Rob has his board set up.

Weldon is a LB/Striker all the way. Rose highest upside of the group. We will get ours, just hope we get the right ones.

YES TO THE BOLDED.

I like Alfonzo Allen as more of a STRIKER type in our scheme.

With new db coaches we would have to see how his board is foreal. I really liked Lymon as well. T ROB though may like more length..based off of how his dbs usually look.
 
I don't understand why we're not all over this kid.

He's a physical freak and would absolutely play a role on our defense with his ability to tackle + length. Kid looks great at receiver too. Blown away by his speed.

I wonder why there is no interest in the Hallandale kids. Edric Weldon was not even at the cookout, although he has an offer and is not committed elsewhere. We're 0/4 on the four horsemen from Hallandale.
 
It seems like we have so many CBs/Safety prospects on the board right now we have the Plan A, B and C kids all planned out. So a guy like Rose and even the Hallandale kids seem to just not be in the plans i guess. There are CB prospects that I had never even heard of that apparently we are looking at and were at the cookout. (Antonio Robinson, etc) T-Rob seems to have his big board pretty much done and done at this point.
 
UM's recruitment/non-recruitment of the Hallandale remains very mysterious to me...All we heard early on was about T-Rob's relationship with Rosegreen and how shortly after being hired he was on a zoom call with all 4 kids at once. I guess we project all 4 as safeties and we just aren't taking more than 1 this year. I thought 1-2 of these kids would get a look at striker. Weird.
