Anthony McFarland, Jr.

There is some good news! Burns and him would be a solid RB haul for this class, with the RB possiblities over the next few years and Thomas Brown as the coach, this should be a huge strength on the team

These are the type of recruiting battles we've consistently lost over the years. Need to win this one

Yeah but you can't compare those past garbage staffs to this one who is very strong. Looking at his recruitment other then the paranoia of him staying home I don't see one scary reason to think he won't pick UM

Agreed 100%, more so hoping this staff can get off to a great start and not getting into the habit of losing out on playmakers

These are the type of recruits you need to take the next step mane. The type that take over games

Lets go

We can get him. Maryland hasn't traditionally locked down their best area players like other places, especially a national beast like this.

Last year they lost QB Dwayne Haskins to the Ohio State Suckeyes. I can see McFarland coming here.

What this **** say. One of the national dudes on 247 put this up on mcfarland being crystal balled to miami.

247Sports Crystal Ball forecast: Anthony McFarland Jr. to Miami

I put in a 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast in favor of Miami for the nation's No. 3 all-purpose back Anthony McFarland Jr.

The Canes will host the Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha standout on an official visit this weekend.

Besides Miami, McFarland is strongly considering opportunities from Maryland and Alabama, but I believe the relationship he has with Thomas Brown and Mark Richt will prevail here.

The industry-generated 247Sports Composite ranks McFarland as the No. 2 recruit in the state of Maryland and No. 59 player overall.

Was hoping for something a little more groundbreaking than "I predicted he will go to Miami, because I think he will."

The number 1 and 2 guys on 247 crystal ball predictions rankings (both over 90% correct) have put him committing to Miami the last few days

Bartow doesn't throw **** at the wall. He's probably coming here if Bartow predicted it. Dude usually hears about it before others

Would be huge, the guy is a beast and the great thing is we would not even need him right away. He could have a year to develop and learn, that is the type of depth we need to get back to at RB.

Walton
Yearby
Homer
Gray
McFarland
Burns

We could RS Burns as well if we get this kid. I think Burns needs a RS considering all his injuries.
