Another Portal Jumper From South Fla

Wilson is a good CB though. I think he's already better then Ivey

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind kicking the tires with the kid if hes interested but posters on here made it seem like him and a few kids on the team needed to "get them gloves" first before anything could move forward regarding his recruitment. lol. It was 3 years ago so maybe they have put it behind them. He would be better than any CB recruit we could get outside of Jason Marshall IMO.

Is it possible that these kids just want to come back here?
Divaad was a contributor and was likely gong to see more playing time.
No way Nebraska has db’s better than Frenchie.
It would look good for us if we have a top players form uga, uf, and Nebraska dipping to come back home. It isn’t some juco or g5 grad transfer.
These are top recruits at their position and in Divaad’s case a player that actually contributed in one of the best teams in the acc.

These local kids never saw a top player leaving as a mistake. If anything they laughed at us when the hat was left at the table. Now these same players are coming back and it’s not cause they weren’t any good. Just cause we don’t like doesn’t mean it’s all negative.

Not saying this is the case but it is a possible scenario. Also not saying I agree with it 100 percent.

Dude what? Anthony Cook and Greg Ross are still out there but we’re gonna kick the tire on Divaad? Que?
Ross transferred to Iowa State. Cook looks like he’s stuck in the portal. Word on him from Texas people is that he maxed out early.

Yeah for sure and you could see it when he was still in on high school. His teammate, Jamison should have been rated higher seeing as to how versatile he was. His potential was sky high

The never-ending battle of taking talent vs. further downgrading the value of your scholarship offer with guys that rejected you in their recruitment window. If we keep taking everyone sloppy seconds, how are we going to become a destination for SFL elite talent again? On the other hand... it's easier to win with said talent on the roster than not. Idk - I'm torn. I think it's better to have guys in your program for 3-5 years than just taking everyone that takes a bag and then gets homesick back for a second (or third, or fourth...)chance. Decisions, decisions...

First and foremost, gotta get your facts right. In this situation Wilson didn't reject us. We never pursued.

We didn’t actively recruit Wilson
