Another new twist to the 2020 Season

Guess which team this favors? Perhaps one with a half-dozen former head coaches as analysts??
Butch Jones, Charlie Strong, Mike Stoops and Major Applewhite for example....

I'm not certain how having a collection of cast offs advising anyone on anything othrr than "this is how I sucked at my last stop" is helpful

The NCAA has no clue. All these changes only reinforces the hold that 4 to 5 teams have on competitive dominance.

It will just bring down the overall viewing numbers when the same 4-5 teams make it every **** season. They should do it the opposite way, take a few analysts from the natty winner plus force them to recruit harder, and without bags. Saban’s retirement couldn’t come fast enough

It helps. Experience always helps. Most successful people in the world have failed, or not immediately succeeded, usually many times. Look at Saban’s early career. Anyway, we learn from failures as well as successes. Having the analytical skills and sounding boards of former head coaches in the building should always be helpful. I’d love to bounce ideas off of failed and successful ex-CEO’s.

And remember for somebody to have reached the level of head coach, they must’ve had successes at several points in their career to have even made head coach. It’s not like they failed their way up all the way to head coach.
