Don't know why these WR's can't simply LOOK at the Michigan offensive production as an idea of what might happen:

-2021 season Passing Yards Gained = 3202 Rushing Yards Gained = 3001. Very balanced production.
-Total plays run = 970. 395 pass plays (41%) 575 rush plays (59%).

Michigan had 8 games that were blowouts and they ran the ball in the 2nd half to just eat clock.

I'd did the research before, but balance isn't what receivers are looking for. Michigan's team passing stats are much lower than most top tier teams. I'm not saying that's why he made his decision, but to your point, it doesn't help.

Same thing I say. I even let them know that in their
Bryan McClendon is the WR coach at UGA. He worked with Mario at Oregon, and followed him to Miami. His wife likes sweat tea, homemade wine, and peaches.

She made him move from Miami to Georgia.

After he got to Georgia he decided to take the low road, and tell false stories to recruits and say Mario runs it 70 times per game and throws its twice.

Then you have sling blade Billy getting pounded on the trail by Mario, and is getting desperate. Due to Bmac negative recruiting Slingblade found a tiny opening to throw some money in Jeans face to commit to stop the bleeding some that Mario was inflicting him on the trail.

Boom you have your commit.
247 Swamp247 message board. How much money you guys pay this kid. Seem like G5 Billy was desperate and wanted to make his fan happy went out and beyond to finally get one Miami Dade kid to commit that we were also pursuing. Nun more nun less.

I’ve been a part of this community for the better part of a decade and a hurricane fan for way longer than that. If you have constructive criticism about why this thread is unnecessary it would be nice to hear that instead of just saying “close it” or asking for an arbitrary comment score before being able to start a thread.

This website would benefit a lot if grumpy old fans were more welcoming to other fans lol

I’ve been here for a long a$$ time and apparently that’s not enough either
Mods lock a thread when the people here prove they can’t handle discussing it

So the board got a timeout when it comes to talking about Jean because they deserved it

So just give it some time and revisit it down the road. There’s nothing really more to discuss right now anyway that hasn’t already been said. The info you’re looking for isn’t available now

Gators will be lucky to keep Jean committed past like...9/27 lol

Really all that needs to be said on the topic, the only thing worth mentioning of that Mickey mouse clubhouse up north is the tears they shed on a minutely basis

Well I’m not a grumpy *** old fan. I’m probably younger then you actually. Thread isn’t needed. We know all the details on Jean already.

Not to mention Michigan didn’t have a QB on TVD level. Mario first press conference say his offense will be built around his best payer. And the way our QB room is stack don’t see how no WR let alone from the crib don’t want to be here.

Is there a chance we get him back from the Gators? I’d love to know what was happening behind the scenes too

This isn’t a thread to knock the kid or our staff, or say how he wasn’t as good as we thought whatever blah blah

Just want some inside info. Kind of lame how the last thread got closed so quickly but I imagine it’s so people don’t bash the kid

Thanks for the quick and helpful response.

I appreciate it!

It isn’t about age it is more about people who try to gatekeep who can and can’t be a part of the community based off of how many comments they’ve made on the site.

Not everyone is like that, but some people like you are not welcoming to growing the site and the online fan base

My response is to you and everyone else who responds with a dumb meme of “lock thread” and the funnier gifs (although they still aren’t helpful)

“We all know the details”

Obviously I don’t which is why I went to the Hurricane forum to ask about it. i guess I’ll have to go to stupid a$$ Reddit next time lol
Yeah all you have to do is use the search bar & type in Andy Jean.

Is anyone taking under 1.5 more decommittments?
I don't think there will be many. The bottom line is that, since the advent of early NSD, the open portal, and now NIL, commitments have become more meaningful, as schools have more spots locked up earlier. Late reversals are riskier than ever from the recruit's standpoint.

Lock thread tks.

Knowing that these threads will exist no matter what is oddly comforting. At least y'all are consistent.

I think all the discussion around WR recruits and the new offense is tiring. There isn't any need to point out the different nuances from the coaches past in order to project what the new offense will be. The simplest way to dismiss the conjecture and negative recruiting is with the product on the field. The product will be the biggest recruiter. We have one of the best QBs in the nation to showcase the new offense.

We're just about a month away from seeing our team play. I don't expect to see the full capabilities of the offense until weeks 3 at AtM. It will be a nationally televised game in prime time at 9 p.m. So, sit back. Relax. Make yourself a mojito/rum or whatever floats your boat. There will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to see what this Hurricanes offense and team are about.
