Andrew Irvin class prediction 247

Championships are won in the trenches, both OL and DL..Grade A for both...

The secondary is an A- to a B+...Bandy, Deejay and Carter play day one.

WR, we are not done. And yes, I agree with a C grade if for some reason we sign no one else.

Slaton
Herbert
McFarland
Harley
Pouncey
Dean

That would be a successful class in my book.

Yep. Couldn't complain one bit.
We had 3 major needs in recruiting, OL, WR, DB. If we close with the above:

OL- A, great haul
WR- C or D, missed out on all our top targets. Harley and Njoku are solid prospects. Pouncey was a panic offer after missing top targets
DB- C, missed on our top target, Dean brings a contributor day one, Bandy is a great nickel prospect. Missed on elite boundary CB talent and ballhawking S. Carter is the best of the S prospects but all seem to have the same skill set.

I agree with this

RVA, I'm with you, but just imagine if by the grace he signs with Miami.... this place would be on lockdown... LMFAO!! Hey, one can dream.. or maybe it's a nightmare

I agree buddy but I think he signed the forms for early enrollment so he's gone. It's a shame. We had a need and he has an opportunity to put the place on his back like a leader of men...he didn't want it. But we know our time is coming and that leader is also on the horizon... The local guy who says this all stops and starts with me.

I think all the people he predicts us getting is reasonable.

QB: A+
RB: A-
WR: D+
TE: C
OL: A+
DL: A-
LB: B+
DB: B-

Overall: B/B+

If we land Devonta Smith, I think this is an excellent class leading to 2018 which is stacked at WR and DB. Even if we don't get a top WR, I think this is a great class, definitely top 10.
But this DB class really isn't that bad with Dean, Bandy, and Amari Carter. Shawn Davis and Chris Henderson would have been nice, but I'd rather get a grad transfer at CB, and just bring in 6-8 DBs in the 2018 class. Its lucky we are loading up on top OL this class and It's not like we need LBs, so next year we have plenty of space for WR, DL, and DB.

I would trade 2017 WR Pouncey for DT Elijah Conliffe, then add Grad Transfer Cory Holmes over the summer.

Go Canes

I like the idea of Pouncey, who has running back experience, getting the screen passes Dayall Harris got this year.

We don't know what Holmes would bring this to team. I'm all for bringing him in, but it's not like he was really good at Notre Dame. Why not just get Pouncey and Conliffe?

Shoot me. I don't think we're done with Jeudy yet.

Exactly. We haven't shamed his family out of South Florida yet.

This dude gets the whole idea. I hope everyone in Beudy's family loses their jobs and they have to squander his bag.

Given the recen death, it probably better to keep family out of the discussion.

I don't give any fvcks about Alabaga guys. Let the 205 nurture them. You're with us, or you're against us.

I don't think Brian Kelly is a good coach or developer of talent. ND should never have this record with the massive recruiting advantage they have

Mind boggling. They have a top ranked recruitung class even after this season's debacle.

Need another DT.

No idea how you can give the DBs that high of a grade. Missed on most our high end targets, especially if we miss on Edwards

If we close with Irvings predictions it's a nice class but not where it needs to be. QB, OL, DE will be nailed. LB we got who we wanted. TE, DT, DB leaves something to be desired. WR was a fail.

Missing on the WR and CB spots hurt, but the class is very solid outside of those positions.

I agree. This class should keep us on pace with Virginia Tech and North Carolina and should keep us in the conversation for the coastal in the years ahead
