The fan reaction is what happens when people spend too much time watching old You Tube replays of days gone by. Our fanbase is living on a perpetual acid trip, fantasizing about "the glory "years". Unrealistic expectations are a result.....and allowing an HC 1 year before screaming for his firing is a result of unrealistic expectations.

Nobody is expecting Edward Reed or Michael Irvin to come out of the tunnel. But at this point I'd settle for a team that plays hard for 60 minutes, and we're not even getting that.

Gotta disagree. The fan reaction is what happens when we see an underachieving team lose by 2 feet last year, and the new regime claims to not want to get pushed around anymore and we do just that against the same team. K State progressed, we regressed. Sure, youth is more of an issue this year than it was last year, but we are far from seeing colorful dancing bears dude.

Al Golden is a excellent Coach and a great Recruiter. I think he's missing the X's and O's from his DC & OC.

I expected us to lose to KSU, ND, and FSU this year.

The rest of the schedule is a coin flip.

It's gonna take me a while to get over yesterday. See, all of our losses under Golden to this point were by 1 possesion, and we were at least in the game according to the scoreboard. That game was just all kinds of awful and I haven't recovered. All these stats like the one Joecane just posted, and the ones that Tim Reynolds tweeted yesterday have so god**** mad.
