Harry's for lunch, eh? They're really going allllll out. The check could've easily been $75! Someone check if the NCAA allows this!
Hahaha. They only do that at their Ocala location. They're hoping John Travolta stumbles in one day looking for a dinner menu where nothing is more than like $25.Wonder if they got the chef's table!!

F all the BS.....I'm personally having my Chauffeur drive Mims to Miami in my Limo....Hahaha. A 30% tip too.
I’m gonna lmfao if he leaves Tallahassee in a private jet to Miami.
Ain’t no way he’s driving back here for the spring game.
From lunch at Harry’s to appetizers on a Gulfstream.
Update Thurs 3:30 pm:
Amarius Mims and his family arrived at the Moore Center around 10:30 am this morning. The entire coaching staff greeted them out in front of the Bobby Bowden statue and brought them inside. Once inside, FSU’s entire football staff was inside — all the off field recruiting staff, all the GA’s, all the equipment managers, training staff, etc. It was a warm welcome.
From there, the family toured the facilities, met with the staff privately, toured campus and had a meeting with AD Michael Alford. Then the coaches took the family to lunch at Harry’s.
I’m expecting Mims and his family to have dinner with the coaching staff and possibly some players tonight. I’m told Dillan Gibbons, Robert Scott and Kayden Lyles have been in contact with Mims throughout the visit and I expect them to spend more time together this evening.
I’ve also learned that Mims has activities/meetings planned on campus tomorrow at FSU. This means I don’t expect him to depart Tallahassee until the late afternoon at the earliest, possibly longer. I’m still working on confirming an exact time of departure, but I do know he’s spending the night again in Tallahassee and has visit itinerary for tomorrow.
If there’s any new developments this evening, I’ll keep you guys updated!
Well the momma should be worried about the kid getting the best coaching possible to get to the next level (NFL). If the family did their research then this should be a slam dunk.I think many of you need to remember this kid aint from Atlanta, GA. Hes from Cochran, GA. Which is 2.5 hours from Atlanta. If our strategy is to show him the city life, im hoping we dont go overboard with that. We have heard FAR too often a kid come off a "great" visit and say, "I loved Miami. The city was great but my mama thinks it might be too fast for me." Sell what we have but lets not scare the kids poor mom away either. Lol.
He wasn’t behind though. He was a true freshman and in the 2 deep at RT when they played Michigan in the playoff. He didn’t play in that game but played in 8 games on loaded team as a true frosh. UGA returns their RT this year and Sayler who was the LT is getting drafted. By all accounts Mims was get some first team reps at LT with the other guy being 5 star and 2020 top 10 Broderick Jones. Now it appeared Jones was favored to start but I would not say he was behind. You could knock him for not sticking it out and expecting instant gratification but not being behind. This kid signed with Georgia (athens) and left because he was behind on the depth chart...
Momma seems to matter a lot. Miami aint Athens and is much further from home than Trailerhassee.
I guess the question is... is it clear that he is a day 1 starter here in the position of his choice? Is he ok with RT?
I also wonder if kids like this shay way from big programs because they want to be the "it" guy and not on the bench. Right now Miami is pushing to be an elite program whereas FSU is just holding on to be relevant.
I can see him going to FSU but if he comes here for a visit I cant see Ruiz taking the L without a fight. He has gone public and would have to imagine guys like this thrive on being in charge and making the rules (a la Elon Musk). Your not in charge if your takin Ls.

I would prefer a Rusty trombone from the right person than a dinner at the Pelican. Not a great selling point.
If you sell Coral Gables and the small country-club type of campus, you don't HAVE to venture into the city and still sell the perks of a city. You live on campus, go to class on campus, practice on campus, and are driven to the games on a bus with a police escort.I think many of you need to remember this kid aint from Atlanta, GA.
