Goingto be an all time great Should Been Cane. And I remember the Grassy board freaking out about "bigger fish" when he wanted to commit...

Count me as someone who didn't have him as highly ranked as I should have. I thought he was about the #5 or so player in the state. I only saw him run posts and 9s and look generally disinterested. Guess he went up there and decided to max out that athleticism everyone knew he had.
 
I don't think anyone thought he was this good, but it just goes to show that the coaches know more than we do usually. And also that well NEVER be able to keep every stud down here, unfortunately. Kid is fun to watch. Hope we get a shot at him in this game one of these years...

Combo of him not liking that Al put the pressure on to commit on the spot and his mom wanting him out, as I recall.
 
Kid has made some really nice plays tonight. Thought the first deep ball McCaron threw to him he should have laid out for. Had a **** of a catch near the sideline around late 3rd quarter.

Anyone else hear Musberger's comments on how Miami thought they were getting him and Bridgewater....and something like imagine the duo of them in Coral Gables.
 
Sick feeling watching him and bridgewater... Just puked after musberger mentioned miami thinking we were getting both of them. C'mon Al, reverse the "tide!"

Kid is insane, Bakas was right on this one. My fave recruit last year at WR and top 3. AG just got beat for this kid I think he tried. AC said he wanted to do something different and go to Bama instead of do what everyone wants him to do and go to UM his "childhood fave". Killed me when they said his team is the U in the BCS game. Musberger said kid wanted to win.

The minute I saw his hilight tape after all the moaning and groaning on CT I thought he was Watkins level. His moves off the LOS are 2nd to none (in college) kid creates space fast.

This is what I didn't understand, in his highlight tape he didn't just run posts in and 9 routes... He was running slants, corners, taking screens up for big gains and etc... His route running is what made him stand out...
i always thought the kid was the best wideout in the state...
 
The only bad part about tonight's game was Musberger mentioning how good would Teddy and Cooper together have been in Coral Gables
