Reclassifying rarely works out tooNot crazy about these kids re-classifying honestly, especially kids who play OL/Front 4. Yes, that applies to Blount too.
they just gotta sell these kids on a RS, and pump their ego up telling them, (trust us, after EE and RS year of weight program, you'll be a BEAST coming in to your RS FR season). It's AWESOME to stack the talent, but IMO you gotta have some stop gaps between blue chips kids, and honestly gotta allow time for a 17year reclassified kid to mature mentally and physically.....Reclassifying rarely works out too
if your from florida u would know ALOT of these kids were held back in middle school a year for sports purposes as well so alot of them are their correct age. Not speaking on this kid but its routinely done down here...now the opposite is happening and reclassifying up is a thing to get to nil money lolThe new wave will be high school students graduating a year early so they can make their $50K+ AND have free tuition and room and board paid sooner. Honestly makes sense a little. But idk if long term its better to be developed by taking a redshirt year and not getting any PT vs playing senior year of HS...

This actually goes way back. In the early 90s I was playing against varsity "8th and 9th graders" who looked 17. Usually at American Heritage or Dade Christian.I had highschool sophomores coming back to my middle school south Florida education is a joke
