Last's years game was a blowout until Maclom Lewis suffered that gruesome injury which clearly effected the psyche of the team. As most of the players were visibly shook after. After that Thursday night meltdown a few years back in ATL these games hadn't even been close until last year. I'm expecting a 17 point win.

This is a different team with a different mindset. I have yet to see the team come out flat the way they use to **** near every game in years past. GT's option will be a challenge like always just because it's different. I still expect a Miami win though.

Al wants to kick rear this year. His move with Duke this week said exactly how he feels about this game. Remember, he has history with this coach and I doubt it is pleasant. No one likes the cuts Johnson loves so much. Don't know how many of Golden's players who have been hurt by them, but Al seems to take stuff personal. He certainly hates the gators and Muschump. I look for a punishing win by us.

Miami should have hammered GT last year with "that" defense. This years team is at home, more mature and seems to have the right mindset.
A blow out would not shock me.

who knows how good or bad we are...UF sucks on Offense yet they put 450+ on us...FAU, SVS and USF are dogs and we could have clearly beaten by 60 on all three if needed...

lets see how we handle 4 qtrs with decent talent..I still think its not close and we put the fear into the rest of the coastal with a blow out...

I feel sorta the same way. I think we're a different (better) team, but I also recognize that it's hard to feel a certain way about this team given our competition thus far. It's a bit strange to be 4 games in and feel that way, but that's how I feel. We've played some real scrubs, emptied the bench a few times, pulled starters early, etc.

So I like what I've seen and I'm confident, but still need to see what we do on a consistent basis against (at least) decent competition.

I really want to see 3-4 quarters of good, consistent football from our two-deep. If we do that, I believe I'll enjoy my day tomorrow.

Didn't they play Elon? They definately have played UNC and VT... so not sure what you are looking at??? Unless GT started their season in July and has already played 7 or 8 games.

** Seems like 10 people already beat me to it. On 2nd thought, that kind of sounds like Louisville's schedule.

We weren't flat last year. We just weren't very good. We were pretty equally matched with UNC and UVA. And we were actually a very large underdog against GT. There's a reason we were picked to finish next to last in the Coastal and forecast to win 4 games.

Funny, we exceeded the expectations of most of the country with the exception of a few porsters who expected Golden to go 11-1 and win a conference championship with 20 freshman on the 2 deep. It's nice to remember that sometimes. I had actually forgotten some of those preseason predictions.

which is hilarious hearing GT fans say "they are overly confident which will be their downfall" or something to that effect. They are reading message boards of fans and thinking the team is "overconfident".

College football fans must be inherently stupid, which is evident in the original post. I don't see anything on this board that would support OP's need to even start this thread.
