I mean it seemed like most were getting waivers anyway.
Yes but it wasn’t guaranteed. Now you’ll see more upper class starters and difference makers opt to leave without risking anything instead of declaring too early or just sticking it out

For some reason I thought that was already decided. I know we're still waiting on the # of schollies tho

OH MAN!!!!

Let's start pulling those walk-on ships!!!!

75 on ship, 6 or 7 are walk-ons (Ragone, Price, Few, Parrott, James, Griffin, Alford?).
85-75 = 10 + 6 = 16 spots
16 + 9 seniors (don't count in 2021) = 25 spots before anyone leaves.

Everyone should expect 8 departures to the NFL or transfers.

With 25+8 spots, we could be playing with 30+ new kids and upwards of 94 kids on ships next year compared to 68 recruited (non-walkon) athletes in 2020. We then have 22 spots in the Junior class for the '22 class which means we likely land another Elite class for '22 as other schools won't be as lucky getting back to 85.
