I agree with him. It is like the 11-2 13-0 bull**** can run rampant on the site. We can praise all these peoples abilities and it is fine. But if someone wants to be realistic and make it a point that we will win 7 games, all **** breaks lose.

If someone praises a coach, predicts a great record, etc. in a thread then someone should also be able to do the exact opposite while not degrading another poster.

This place is becoming too much like CaneSport, and that place is terrible. Censorship is so rampant, you literally can't post a thread unless it is praising something.

It's okay to not think we're gonna go undefeated and beat every team on the schedule without an experienced quarterback people I promise.

It reminds me of people who think you aren't a good friend if you give them tips to lose weight or try to help. You're a bad person because of this, no? You actually care about your friends health and want them to live a meaningful, fun-filled, long lasting life.

It is like the "Real Fans" CAN'T handle the truth. The only way you're ever going to get better is admitting there's a problem.

@ UL is a tough environment to break in a new QB. we could pull it out, as they obviously have new coaches, QB, as well, but can we overcome that with a very basic playbook on offense to get whoever it is comfortable with their job?

I've only seen Olsen in the Spring Game and wasn't particularly excited at all. If he doesn't make a large leap from a game against his teammates in no atmosphere to a rocking, opening night, atmosphere away we're going to be in trouble no matter how big of a leap the defense makes. Think Driskel against UM last year. Everyone knows to plan for Duke J, we just have to have a QB that makes them plan for something else.

The good thing is we will have two IAA games after that to help restore any hypothetically lost confidence or build on confidence found in the @UL game.

In order to win 10 D1 games we have to split @UL and @Neb, and that would be WITH beating FSU on the way.

I really don't see us taking 2 of 3 from @UL, @Neb, and v FSU based on how our defenses have performed under D'Onofrio's schemes and how inexperienced we are at the QB position.

It's okay to disagree with that, but don't tell me I'm not a Canes fan because of it.

Where have you ever seen me say any of that?? I've never mentioned any of that but you can stop putting words in my mouth to further mover your agenda. My expectations are to at least get 9 or 10 wins how ever they might come as far as a RS Freshman or Freshman or one of the other QBs we have on the team I'm not expecting any of them to have a magically season, last I checked Football is a team game that consist of 11 players on Offense and Defense playing on the field you can win games with the QB being a GAME MANGER that's all we need a GAME MANGER **** make a few plays here and there and keep the defense honest and that's fine, as far as the defense Im not expecting top 15 or 30 like most people on here are stating I just want the defense to improve get more sacks, pressure the opposing QB more frequently, cause more turnovers, make a few impact plays here and there if they can do that I'm fine with that as long as the opposing team isn't having a field day even if they are I atleast want the defense to keep the game in reach. I'm fine with people disagreeing but some of us shouldn't get too high nor too low, at the end of the day we all have expectations for OUR team seeing that we are fans of this team no matter what those expectations are we all should be able to root for the same **** team even if some of us aren't seeing eye to eye.
