I don't know what was wrong with them...better then the ESPNU guys and Pasch on the UF game. The best announcers we've had this year was the ESPN3 game vs. SSU and its not close, that team was amazing.

Im not getting the hate towards the announcers. It was Stephen Morris who stunk up the joint tonight, not the announcers. They were just telling everyone what was happening.

I do hate to say this but Jesse Palmer is one of the best color guys in CFB.

Just because someone says something negative or not positive doesnt make wrong. People need to take the orange and green glasses off. We are good but certainly have work to do. Hey all teams have off nights but We could drop in ratings.

I actually prefer Pollack to most other color guys. A lot of what he says isn´t the clichéd stuff you usually hear.

Examples of what they said that was wrong?

I know two.

1. I don't remember who called Morris "Phillip" Morris.
2. On the last drive, after the first throw but before the 2nd throw said that Morris hasn't thrown a pass all drive. Then 5 seconds or so later corrected himself (Davis).

WOW!!!! Way to crack the case. Now it is completely obvious that ESPN was hoping for us to lose that game last night. The hate shown based on those two examples alone should get the three commentators removed from the jobs and never do another game.

I didn't like what they were saying, but it was the truth...probably the same thing that was being yelled at the game and at the TV by everybody here. Why let Ebron run free? I was having flashbacks of Shannon's defenses and last year. He is their top receiving threat. They talked about it all week, and he ran unmolested across the field. No one jammed him. Sometimes they didn't even pay attention to him.

Morris' ankle injury is in his head. Until he starts getting his footwork straight, he's going to be inconsistent.

I don't recall anything specific that the three guys said. What I do know is, Morris is shaky. You put pressure on him and he folds like a cheap suit. 17 by himself almost cost us the game. Four picks and over throwing wide open receivers. His play will need to improve greatly or we will get upset by someone...

They weren't wrong but they could have mentioned Clemson barely beating BC. FSY struggled with Pitt and BC for a time.

ESPN is really an SEC network - not that they were wrong with most of the things said.

Please provide one example of something they said that is not accurate? Do you guys go through life thinking everyone is out to get you?

This. Every fan base has this delusional idea that the refs and the announcers hate their team.

All three announcers were praising Morris, Duke, our WRs, etc.... And then we **** the bed. Yet they still praised us as a mature team that would not give up, and still had a chance to win. They were correct.

Artie Burns blocks a field goal that turns into a TD: "Well, they moved the ball back and the kicker took too long loading up on that thing."

Stephen Morris has a pass deflected on a third down: "This UNC defense creates a few turnovers and they're feeding off it. They feel like the 85 Bears; everyone's making plays."

Tracy Howard picks off Renner in the redzone: "Oh, no, Renner gives Miami the ball right back. He made a bad play luckily for Miami Howard just happened to be there."

Palmer was very accurate about our explosive offense and us being turnover prone. Pollack made some nice comments about Dorito finally bringing pressure. But they said some stupid ****, but I guess that can be said of any announcing team.

FSU struggled with Pitt? Are you kidding? Winston completed something like 80% of his passes. They destroyed Pitt, just as many on here said we would to UNC.

And ironically, the posters here claimed that FSU's blowout meant nothing bc Pitt is a terrible team.

They said the same thing about Morris's picks: "he gave the ball back to UNC." Does that mean they were biased against the UNC DBS also?

Is this real life? Did u actually type those out as examples of the announcers expressing their "hate" of UM? Speechless.

I just remember them lauding UNC's defense for the 4 INTs.

Seriously, if u pay attention to the commentating, u can clearly decipher that the announcers were hoping for an upset. Paid too much attention to the negative. I agree that we may not be on the same level as Clemson, but they crushed the team at the end. I don't know who FSU has played also.

The game was so frustrating, that whatever the announcers said just added to it, annoyed the sh*t out of me. It was more of their whole GQ, choreographed suave in the booth, and formulaic body language sports media schtick that so gets to me when things are going wrong. I turned the sound off and said "Ahhhhhh".

1) Commenting on Duke's long run, minimizing Duke's caliber in him getting caught from behind - saying De'Anthony Thomas scores, doesn't get caught in that situation.
2) Ebron setting our secondary on fire, our D not adjusting - Pollack expressed frustration almost over why Miami wasn't at least sticking this guy at LOS, doing something to break the rhythm.
3) They did compliment Morris on NFL throws, and then Morris stank so that it could not be ignored. I thought they went light on him actually, but I was going out of my mind in my own self tortured, angst over him killing drives. The boink off Seantrel's helmet nearly made me punch out the TV.
4) The Miami mounting injury continuum and the announcers seemingly on board with the attrition feeding an upset seemed like it was fitting their script.
5) Gayturd Palmer saying Miami is not in FSU's or Clemson's league may be accurate but (and it may be me being predisposed to thinking this way due to my anti-**** bias) was somewhat mitigated by him saying "but we'll see".

Maybe I'm just sick of the ESPN formula and cast of characters. Bores the sh*t out of me. That's just me, I could be wrong.
