i'm on this site waiting for updates, practice reports etc... from the day to day practices at the Under Armour, Army, Semper Fi games.
I know we have some guys on here with subscriptions that can paraphrase some things.
i'll get it started:
Heres a preview on who some of the scout's believe to be the top lineman their and linemans they want to see from scout/fox
"Geoff Vogt (Florida): "We know that Denver Kirkland can play as he has dominated Dade County competition the last three years, however it is not as clear whether he is an offensive tackle or guard. Kirkland will likely get to play both during this week and we should have a better idea of where he projects. In addition Kirkland has been able to use his great size to maul defenders, he will certainly be challanged by some of the best this week. .
Yancy Porter (Mississippi): The old saying goes, “show me the recruits that have a hard time fitting through the door”. That always get the recruiting fans and college scouts excited, and I am no different. Offensive line is usually the hardest positions to properly evaluate. There are more busts and surprises at these positions than any position on the field; it seems, outside of quarterbacks. The one who gets my attention is one that is regionally known but not nationally. His name is OL Denver Kirkland out of Booker T. Washington in Miami, Fla. How will he fare against the Robert Nkemdiche’s, Elijah Daniel’s, Carl Lawson’s, and Montravious Adams’ of the world? And is he better suited for guard or tackle on the next level? My best guess is guard.
