Alin Edouard thinking about other schools

that article seemed like he was going nowhere to me. kid is just traveling and he has said a few times no matter where you see me visit, know that I am locked in to Miami. Not worried about him at all and I doubt our coaches are either

why all of a suddent we talk bad about edouard, the is young you gotta expect things like that ..

When speculation hits, then people say stupid stuff... In a kids mind they will purposely go AWOL, only to prove that they can get back at the "Haters" out there. You never know who reviews these boards...

Sony's cousin is a member, I have a Sophmore relative on the team, I also know a few other folks that browse as well (players/recruits family members)...

These kids love Da U, but want to take their free trips. A majotiry of the of them haven't been anywhere before, because South Florida is fun and sun 24/7, so there's no need to vacation elsewhere.

Boards don't have all of the influence in the world, but it can plant a bad seed, if there's a sense of disdain.

Example: We could have had Bridgewater (my Godfather's nephew), but the fans blew that, by baptizing him as the next coming of Jacory Harris, just because he's from MNW...

If there's nothing encouraging to say, then keep it trill (aka real), and admit that you don't know have a clue about your own life half the time, much less a recruit's life...

incorrect. My friend grew up around mutual friends of Bridgewaters (and i believe it's pretty well known regardless) but from my understanding, Bridgewater and others were scared off by an interview that they had with Shalala (or a higher up at the university) that seemed like they would be on lockdown at the University, which would be wrong of course. But to blame it on the fans for expecting a great college quarterback to be great just sounds ridiculous

Lulz... Everybody got a friend of a friend, that knows the "whole story" when the time comes to post a rebuttal. SMH

The fans didn't want him here despite his production in limited games being better than the other qbs we were recruiting... they need to admit it... He wasn't intimidated by Shala. Most of the kids he grew up with was attending this school and they had no problems... The kid went to camps, won as a 10th grader, tremendously evolved as a passer and the fanbase still didnt want him... I remember fans wanting Driskell and Brisset over the kid... He wasn't getting any love from the majority of cane fans... its not about being mentally weak or strong. The kid felt like he wasn't wanted... I remember media outlets pushing for the kid from STA and all of these other qbs for Golden to recruit. They were implying he didn't fit what Golden was trying to do despite the kid being a drop back qb.... The kid did what was best for him. And now he may be a top 5 pick next year...

love this kids attitude and potential. hope he stays and I think he will, he's just getting the feeling of being a recruit which I would too.

Exactly I'm not worried. Artie Burns and Jamal Carter explored their options after their commitments too, both stayed solid. Alin has his heart at the U

yeah its hard when you have a lot of schools coming at you like that and telling all types of good stuff remember all school could tell you a lot of b.s but as soon as you get to the school they try you .. so that why his options are still open .. , that what you people gotta understand and just stop talking sh*** ,

I am all for kids exploring their options, travel, evaluate other situations and and enjoy the recruiting process. Absolutely his God given right to have. It just makes it harder for a QB to show early leadership, recruit other players and study the playbook, focus on getting better physically and mentally if he does not commit early and shut it down. That's why most elite HS QB's commit early and stick with there commitments.
The right way to do it is: Do your due diligence, travel, enjoy your trips THEN commit. This is what Olsen and other elite QB's who commit to ND, USC, Alabama, etc......do. Committing and then try to enjoy the process is, in my opinion not the right way to handle the recruitment and much more so for QB.

All I gotta say is Kevin Olsen. We are set at QB for the next 4 or 5 years.

He led his 7on7 team FIRE to beat the SFE team to win the Orlando tournament today.

The mighty South Florida Express goes down, just like last year, to the FIRE team. There are a lot of under the radar kids on the FIRE team That Hialeah coach has these kids working.
