Alin Edouard UM's QB commit per TOS is thinking about other schools now. Wow I guess the offer to Brad Kaaya and his great visit may shakin up Alin who had previously stated he was 100% committed to UM and didn't mind competition. Wow how things change with 17yr olds quickly, this will be interesting to see play out.

Means nothing at all if a 17 year old is only committed to 1 school and at least wont listen to other schools just to confirm that he's made the right choice or for backup just in case the school lets him go then honestly he's being dumb but he's solid trust

Oh so now Duke, Alex Gall, and any others that committed early then shut it down are dumb. Oh and all the kids that commit to Texas, Michigan, GT, and VT are also dumb because those school require their commits to shut down thier recruiting once they commit. An Texas in particular tends to fill up their class by the end that class's Jr year.

It just a little unsettling when the QB and supposedly leader of a recruiting class is still looking. How can others buy into him trying to pitch UM if he is still looking? He is not a glory hound RB, Wr, or DT, he is the QB the Top Spot.

Ok..So maybe I got the numbers all wrong.. But why do we need 2 QBs this cycle if we have for 2014...6-7 scholarship QBs potentially? That seems like alot.

Ryan Williams - Senior
Dewey - RS So
Crow - RS So
Thompson- RS So ( Are we counting him?)
Olson - Rs Fr
Edouard - Tr Fr

to maintain long term depth.

after the 2014 season, williams is gone, and so is thompson (pro baseball, guessing).

If olsen jumps dewey and crow for the starting job in 2015, i wouldnt be surprised to see dewey and crow walk after they graduate, if not sooner.

that means going into 2016 you are potnetially looking at

Olsen RS JR
Eduard RS Soph

to keep from having to put underclassmen on the field perpetually, you need to recruit vs your 2nd year class, in this case, 2 is being generous, as it suggests either eduord or the second qb deffinitely pan out (and the other stays after he is apparently sitting for life), or multiple players from the crow/dewey/thompson crew return for a 5th year.

We need 2 bc Alin is very raw and vey mediocre at this point. Kaaya is light years ahead of Alin

One of Dewey or Crow won't be at UM. My guess is Dewey. Also, Thompson will never play QB at UM. We need two QB's for the 2014 class...

I remember when he got all butt-hurt about people saying his commitment wasn't strong...

Guess they were right.

Alin said when he committed that we were going to bring in two QB's per Golden, so let's not start throwing **** against the wall about Kaaya

Last I heard from Edouard he was committed to us early to help recruit others. Now he's shopping around instead? How reliable is that story. Sorry if it's clear from the full article, but I don't pay that membership.

How solid is his commitment?

He says "It's really a hard commit" but then adds "My options are still open."

One of his quotes in story on canesport....WAT??

When speculation hits, then people say stupid stuff... In a kids mind they will purposely go AWOL, only to prove that they can get back at the "Haters" out there. You never know who reviews these boards...

Sony's cousin is a member, I have a Sophmore relative on the team, I also know a few other folks that browse as well (players/recruits family members)...

These kids love Da U, but want to take their free trips. A majotiry of the of them haven't been anywhere before, because South Florida is fun and sun 24/7, so there's no need to vacation elsewhere.

Boards don't have all of the influence in the world, but it can plant a bad seed, if there's a sense of disdain.

Example: We could have had Bridgewater (my Godfather's nephew), but the fans blew that, by baptizing him as the next coming of Jacory Harris, just because he's from MNW...

If there's nothing encouraging to say, then keep it trill (aka real), and admit that you don't know have a clue about your own life half the time, much less a recruit's life...

If we get this Kaaya kid, Ill be honest, I wont be totally hearbroken if Edouard bails. I want the kid, he has a high ceiling and potential, and heart, but he's still very raw, and hasnt exactly blown the doors off South Florida in the passing game. If he cant be cool coming in with another QB, then so be it. I would let him fly, bring in Winky and let him have a shot at QB with the understanding that if he doesnt cut it, he will change positions.

We need two QBs, especially if Edouard is one of them. The fact that Dewey still cant pass Crow on the depth chart, is troubling to me. Ryan Williams does not strike me as a starting Division I QB at this level, meaning that if Dewey and Crow are still struggling, all our hopes rest with Olsen, who is still in High School at this point. Edouard is very raw, so he cant be the only buck in the stable with Olsen. We need another QB. ****, if we only took ONE, I would rather it be Kaaya. Just looking at what the kid has and can do, he looks moer servicable early on than Edouard. Edouard has a sky high ceiling, but its going to take time, and it could just as easily not work out.

Laughable

You gotta love the ole', "Yes, I am still 110% committed but I am still open and will take all 5 visits.". LMAO. I dont wanna say anything bad against the young man so I will leave this alone.

As far as Bridgewater. Buddy came across kinda soft to be from Lib city. Thought he was more mentally tough then that. But Im not butt hurt cuz I wouldnt trade Stephen for him this year. Now next year is another story..

I gotta check this guy Kaaya out if he is as good as yall say..

Bridgewater might be gone after this year...he has paid his dues and has completed his 3rd year after this i believe ...some have him as the top qb next for the draft so we shall see

What is Alin Edouard's other schools can someone post it
