I have yet to meet an AA from Alabama (the state) that has anything good to say about the place. One thing they do agree on is that it's a racist place. I know racism everywhere, but there are more progressive places than there. I have a strong dislike for the old confederate states and institutions.

so from what you know about Leatherwood, does he feel that way about Alabama?

Lol yet they still love Alabama football Alabama the state and Alabama the football team are two totally different entities

I've visited or lived in many states and the people in Alabama aren't anymore racist then anywhere else.
 
Only place in Bama worth a **** is Birmingham.

Every other city there (and I use that term lightly) makes me feel like I just stepped out of the Delorian 30 years in the past. It is a dump. But Auburn and Alabama are kingdoms for an athlete, so it really makes no difference.

He's right up there with Jeudy on my list of the recruits I wanted to land the most. Shame we never really had a chance at either of them. An OL of Leatherwood and Donaldson on the edges would've been nasty.

Yes, Alex must be practicing.
He has a slight case of "flying pinkies" though.
My son had the same problem. I hand his hands surgically altered to correct it.
Now he can throw the U around with the best of them.
 
when will people learn?

we are not going to win any battles with bammer for recruits that they really want. not until we become a championship program again.
 
Agree.
Although it's not acceptable to lose them, it is a big step for us to be in the final 2 with some of these top guys.
