Alex Collins reports in with....

Gatewood is good friends with coach partridge now at Arkansas from Wisconsin. Partridge and gatewood played together at plantation high.

Exactly.... I said this in a earlier post here. Everyone says its Bilemia but they underestimate the connection of Gatewood and Partridge. Partridge is doing exactly what he was hired to do at Arkansas, recruit top S. FL talent to come to Arkansas. There are actually quite a few Plantation High grads from that era heavily involved in high school football in the Broward area, especially at some of the programs that produce top talent.

Whoops sorry for the triple post. I want the kid at Miami just as much as you all do. Why would I make that up? Hope I'm wrong on feb 6th

Come on man don't back out now... Make a statement like that and then back out? You committed... Lets hear it!

Is anyone really surprised by this? Every year, no matter what the sport, at least one of the sometimes many people that "handle" these kids is going to have an agenda. It never fails. Wether it's their speed coach, trainer, assistant coach, head coach, "advisor" etc.... Someone wants to feel important or get paid. On another note, IMG Academy is starting up a Full time football program starting this year. I was just up there, and that place is going to BLOW UP on the football side now. FSU seemed to already have a couple 2014 kids enrolled. I talked to this kid Denzel and he told me FSU wanted him at that school for his senior year. Which is understandable, because IMG has better training and facilities then many colleges.

Isn't Chris Weinke associated with that academy?
I thought I read that somewhere.

Dont know who Chris Weinke is. If he's a tall white dude, then I'm pretty sure that's the head coach. Watch for a TON OF TOP KIDS commited to certain college programs to transfer or be "advised" to go to that school soon. Tuition went up there as well. For 1 year as a Boarding student it's about 80 grand for Tuition.

REALLY? How old are you 14? no disrespect, but Weinke was a household name not all that long ago.

Sorry, I hardly know where Arkansas is. If it wasn't for Rusty Medearis, who was from Arkansas, I think, and Jimmy Johnson, who played there, and Bill Clinton who screwed half the state, I wouldn't even think it really exists.

Ozarks, MO.

Not to mention 80 grand for boarding tuition, unless it is $25k more expensive than every other prep school and university in the country, and the second most expensive school in the world... Also, private schools in Florida recruit and offer athletic scholarships, so it is a moot point. You think Sean Taylor's parents footed the bill for Gulliver Prep?

It explains a lot.

Running back Alex Collins of South Plantation, Fla. HS was hosted by safter Rohan Gaines and said the two joked about dunking on one another. Really enjoyed Gaines as a host. He said he would rate the visit a high 8, 9 or 10. he said he thought highly of Arkansas before visiting and pretty much got what he expected. Very impressed with Arkansas communication department. He's looking to going into broadcasting and he took a tour of the facilities and said he could see himself there.

He admits the ongoing investigation into Miami makes his decision tougher because he doesn't think the Hurricanes will know the sanctions until after signing day. Will announce his decision on Feb. 4

My thought on this weekend was to get all the targets back home without them committing somewhere and none of them have. Win for us.

Yeah, for the most part, I think they know where they were going before the visits. My worry is AC, it makes too much sense not to pick Miami, but his fat *** coach is the monkey wrench

“It’s hard because it still hasn’t come out,” he said of the notice of allegations against the Hurricanes.

“I feel it’s not going to come out until after signing day, which is bad, because I’d like to know, if I was thinking of going there, what I’m getting into. I don’t want to be surprised out of nowhere. ‘Wow, we just got almost the death penalty’ or something like that. So it’s hard trying to make my decision, trying to guess on how I think the punishment will be. I don‘t know.”

Death penalty? Seriously?

Wouldn't surprise me if ****** gave him that idea

That's actually a two-liter bottle.

this kid would be a stone cold lock if it werent for his scumbag coach poisoning his brain with "death penalty" and "backfield by committee" talk. Aside from being the homer that I am, this choice is a no-brainer. We have an opening for a role that he fits perfectly. He could be a huge piece to a contending team next year as a true freshman. He can stay close to friends and family while getting a far better education than any of his other options. This doesnt make any **** sense for Arkansas to be even close to gaining his commitment. How can a So Fla kid even consider to live in a place like Fayetteville with their dirty racist rednecks, crappy education and sh*thole surroundings when you have the options that he has. There is only one reason and its his fat *** scumbag coach

His HS Corch looks like he's been to the Catfish Hole a few times himself. I bet if he manages to steer Collins to Arkansas he gets a lifetime of free meals there.

Sounds like someone got in his ear enough about the sanctions. If it wasn't for that, he'd still be committed. I think Al will go in and deploy Coley to tell him "if we were going to get hammered, why would I leave FSU for this place? Pull it together, *****."
