Alex Collins finally signs with Arkansas

How good of a program is South Plantation? I've seen people on here say Collins is the first and last big prospect to come from there.

exactly. the part that blows my mind is he supposedly told his family (and to some reports the coaches) he was committing to UM and then announced Ark on that ridiculous tv show even though he was telling others he made up his mind during the commercial break or something. he just seems like he has no idea what HE actually wants and is doing everything he can to please all the people around him.

Guess he was not kidding when he said not even his parents knew where he was going. Let the kid go where he wants. If he is not mature enough or mentally able to tell his parents where he is committing to prior to announcing to the world, then my bet is he will not be much of a teammate. Something is amiss upstairs.

They have had a few D1 kids come out but nobody on Alex's level. I can't speak on if he will be the last since I am not a fortune teller.

yeah thats what I saying. they don't really go there. kinda dance around the whole reason why he hasn't signed. just say that he is waiting on it. so we will see who one budges
 
Hmmm.... Couldn't his mom just sign it anytime and then they fax it in why wait?

His mom feels like he lost a son and the son doesn't want to let down the only father figure in his life.

I'd discount what she says, on Sunday she was slamming Arkansas and he still announced for them. At this point I'm over him, but I'd still be happy if he were in this class. He'd get playing time next year. With the whole offense returning (except James) adding Sandland, him, Coley and Gus the Bus would be insane. Can't think of anyone who could stop us?

Yeah, I thought I read his mom was the only parent in the picture.... As for his girlfriend.... She has been tweeting s*** like that all day about its going to be a big day blah blah... She has to head to Miami for big news and cancel her vegas trip blah blah.... I'm not saying she doesn't know something but we have been down this tweet/tea leaf reading road before.... I guess I'll believe it, wether he picks Ark or magically has a self revelation and picks us, when he signs his LOI....
