Alex Collins finally signs with Arkansas

guys someone posted a picture of their letter of intent on instagram or something (Bond maybe?) and I read for myself it is 21. You could clearly see it in the picture. That is all.

Collins is already 18 and doesnt need moms sig. Clearly he is having second thoughts otherwise he would have said F you mom and done it already for Arky

you have to be 21 to not have the parent/guardian signature

"Andrea McDonald fled with the paperwork because she doesn't want Collins to leave home, the sources said. Collins is 18 and does not need a parent or guardian to co-sign his letter of intent."

ESPN is actually wrong here.

From the NCAA per NLI: Must include a parent or legal guardian signature if the prospective student-athlete is under the age of 21, regardless of marital status.

You have to be at least 21 to sign the loi without a guardian signature

No you dont, this isnt alcohol. You only have to be 18. Its just college man.
You'd think. But this is from the Herald article
The National Letter of Intent, according to the official website, is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI member institution. “If you are under the age of 21, regardless of marital status, your parent or legal guardian must sign the NLI in order for it to be considered valid,” the website states.

I'm negging myself when I get the chance lol.

Good research guys. Should have known better to trust an espn article where they purported something as simple as that little factoid.
