Alex Collins final decision coming

The concern over Collins signing is misplaced. We should be more concerned about him qualifying, because he's signing with UM.

If he does in fact "pick" us I think it can only help from a recruiting perspective. He is a big fish and he could initiate the beginning of other big time kids picking us. After a loss against our biggest rival our 5* running back stays solid would be $.

This is actually how the process usually plays out: Highly-touted prospect (HTP) gives verbal commit over the summer. Fans of team HTP committed to go into a frenzy, proclaiming HTP better than everyone on their team's current roster. HTP visits a few schools and gives several interviews where he doesn't really say anything but the reporter conducting the interview asks leading questions to drive article said reported wants to write. Fans of school HTP committed to take turns questioning HTP's loyalty and arguing HTP is scared of competition and/or getting paid by other schools. HTP says he is going to make a final decision. Fans of all schools whom HTP has visited have internet anxiety attacks while awaiting decision. HTP re-affirms commitment to school he originally committed to. Fans of original school say they never doubted HTP and resume proclaiming him the next best thing.
