You beat me to it. I’ve been saying it all season long. Both the $EC and B1G are extremely overrated.

Baga jumped us last week after beating lowly Mercer 52-7. Earlier this season when we beat USF and Ball State by a gazillion points, they refused to move us up in the polls, saying that we weren’t playing anyone. Baga was 11th and we were 8th last week, and they jumped them 4 spots over us.

I bet that they’ll only still drop them 3 or 4 spots after getting obliterated tonight.

Indiana should drop at least 7 to 8 spots too after the *** kicking that they took today at Taint. They’ll probably only drop 3 or 4 spots.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if they jump TN and Georgia over us this week, even though they both beat the Sisters of the Poor, and we beat an ACC opponent.

We only lost 1 game, on the road, by only 5 points, to a team that is now 7-4, and they dropped us 8 spots.

Miss me with any of the B.S. takes.

Many of us didn’t like playoff expansion because there weren’t enough teams to fill out 12. We assumed Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State would simply roll through their schedule as their usual dominant selves and make games with the other eight teams pointless.

Now in this first season of the expanded playoff there aren’t truly dominant teams like we saw in the past. On any given Saturday, any team can beat any other team. Almost.

Georgia will play in the SEC Championship game but has two losses. Alabama is on the outside looking in, hoping for bias and help to make the playoffs. Ohio State has lived up to the task, but nearly lost games to Penn State and Nebraska.

Oregon is the only undefeated team yet struggled out of the gate and nearly lost at Wisconsin a week ago. Nebraska beat the crap out of Wisconsin was probably a letdown for the Badgers.

saban quit because NIL changed the playing field. SEC schools were allowed to do whatever they wanted, now the other programs can compete and its legal.

What's going to get them, probably, is the way they lost. 3 TDs to a 6-5 team is just a very bad loss. A close one and maybe, MAYBE the "SEC is just deep" garbage plays. Not this one though.
