Alabama and LSU rb in the NFL

Just goes to show, then, what great coaching, schemes and fitting the right players into your scheme can do. We, otoh, have to rely on NFL talent to win us games DESPITE our scheme and coaching.

I will go blue in the face and say we have no REAL nfl guy stand outs on this team. sure we have guys that will get in the NFL..but no studs

if you look at he NFL draft for us..it has been since 2003 since we had a STUD Defensive tackle...until we get tackles that take over games, disrupt qbs and ***** up game plans or teams great Lbs and Dbs will look avg with a QB that has all day....it starts upfront...

Faulk was a great player for the Pats. Did all the little things. Belichick said he was one of his favorite players he ever coached.

But other than those two, can't think of any LSU backs either.

i'm thinking that op is referring to more recent success, but if we go back as far as faulk, shaun alexander and joseph addai were no slouches either.

Lacy is the best out of the three.

I said this when each was starting for Bama. Bama fans thought Richardson was god, but I kept telling them he was missing something. He has great size and straight line speed, but Stevie Wonder has better vision and it takes him 4-5 unhindered strides to get going. Almost had to fight a couple of them over it.

Lamar is averaging 4.5 ypc (the same as AP and Arian Foster, more than Jamaal Charles, Gore, and Forte), that's pretty **** good. It's not his fault the Dolphins OL is absolute trash the Sherman loves giving ****** Daniel Thomas more carries than he deserves.

We have no idea in what we have (as a dolphins fan) in Lamar. Our OL is an abomination. Our rbs get hit in the backfield more than any team in the NFL. Lamar has shown some flashes when he actually has some space to work with. Still needs to be better in pass pro.

Unfortunately, Mike James broke his ankle and is out for the season. He had an impressive opening drive against the Dolphins. As much as I hated watching it I was glad he was doing well. As far as Miller is concerned, I totally agree with DJ8. Horrible O-line (even worse now) and a stupid OC who won't give Miller more reps even when is ripping off chunks of yards.
