AL STANDS WITH THE U!

If Al brings back Onfrio with him I'll be rooting for both of them to get hit by a small truck.

What a ******* joke.

I'm not being a smartass. Is there any proof whatsoever that he was rejected?

You dont go off the radar for 3 days ignoring your staff, recruits, players, etc when you arent going to take the job if offered.

Opposing coaches are going to *** rape Golden for this. I can already see Lice Harris telling his kids to not go to UM

Yes you would. Maybe he thought they would offer more than they did. Maybe after stewing on it all for two days he and his family decided they like it at UM and in S.Fla enough to turn down more money. I asked for proof, not conjecture. People are riding emotion instead of thinking. That's why everybody had Golden gone and one of 18 different candidates already hired. Same **** that happened during the last coaching search. Lots of gullibility going around.

So imagine this potential recruiting pitch from Al Golden: "I could have gone home, to my alma mater, my dream job. And I'm still at Miami."

And evidence that your stance is correct?

Proof, of course.

Valentine (who I think most people consider the most questionable recruit to stick) even said yesterday that he was simply decommitting to see what happens with Golden, and indicated he'd recommit if the staff was stable at UM. I still think he might flip due to grades, but I think we will be fine with recruiting. It's what's happening on the field I'm worried about going forward.

Of course not. And since I have no proof, I'm passing no judgement on the issue. Are you?

Anybody who buys that line from Golden is an idiot.

But hey he's a great salesman so maybe he can convince people to believe that BS.

People aren't stupid. They'll see right through that line and know he had one foot out the door.

This is my least favorite day as a cane in my entire life.

Fiesta bowl has moved down to #2.

Sincerely hope you are joking. A weekend hiccup versus being cheated out of a national title, an event that continues to **** me off well over a decade later? Exemplary of how ridiculously stupid our fan base is. Probably one of those folks that is happy to ***** over message boards but doesn't show up on Saturdays.

How did he have a foot out the door.? Please explain since you apparently know the situation.

If you hate golden so much then stop being a fan and come back when he isn't coach

I thought this is the "dead period" in recruiting where coaches cant contact recruits.
