Al Golden Unhappy At Miami?

Hack piece.

We could all tell Al wasn't himself during the PSU **** spin.

But now that that's over, Al is Al again. Whatever that means. But there's nothing to suggest he's unhappy.

Unhappy was three years ago when he got blindsided by Shapiro. Now this is business as usual.

Us against the world gets exhausting sometimes, but hey, ride or die.

That alone just pukes me out.

We're so screwed.

They were going to double his salary.

Not many people would turn that down.

PSU really f'ed him over by telling him the job was his and then telling him no thanks.

He farked himself over by making his behavior and wants so obvious.

The Cloud was Golden's umbrella. The wind was knocked out of him before the WF game with the sanctions. No more excuses, and he knew it, and was a defeated man after that, and tried to bolt.

Team played like dog crap, coaching went to all **** after going 6-0. Coincidently right when the Cloud dissapeared.

But yes, a true hack piece. Why Canes fans don't boycott SI is beyond me. I haven't touched a magazine or hit their website ONCE since the 90's.

This is who we're stuck w/ till 2019-2020....great, a man who'd rather be in Happy Valley than Coral Gables

Random sources and general speculation? What in the ****? That's a straight up attempted hit. Someone is really afraid Miami may one day get a combination of good players and a good coach.

Talk about a coach sharting his pants?

Golden went from fart to shart, to full blown siht - running down both legs and into his shoes.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's disillusioned at this point. A lot has happened during his time at Miami some of his own making and some not.

He can fix a lot or he can "maintain stability." The choice is his.
Letting Dorito go would be like releasing the valve on a pressure cooker. I don't believe Golden is the right guy for the Miami job, but he could give the program a much needed shot in the arm just by that one act.

Three ifs by consigliere

1. If Golden let go of his DC and brought in the right guy to fully coach the D,

2. If he let go of his DL and OL coach and brought in the right guys, and

3. If he refocused,

Then I would feel a lot better about his chances for success at Miami.

If he did that, I think most would say, wow, Al just gets it.

Golden has taken plenty of criticism, especially about his embattled defensive coordinator and close friend Mark D'Onofrio, whose unit gave up nearly 42 points per game in the Hurricanes' losses last season and ranked fifth-to-last nationally in total defense. Yet Golden has said he will not make changes to his coaching staff.

Are they wrong about anything?

Both authors of that Hack piece are both known for shady tactics. Thayer Evens is best known for his investigative piece on the Okie State scandal which he got ripped to shreds for and Pete Thamel was accused of bribing a club owner to make false statements against Tryann Mathieu.

NVA CANE, You just articulated exactly how many of us feel on this Board. There are 2 camps on here. Those that agree with your statement and those who are members of Dorito's family.

I don't have any doubt that he is tired of some of our bull**** "fans" but overall I still think he is very happy to be in Miami.

Thankfully ESPN didn;t write up that ****. SI knows its not relevant anymore and needs anything to get readers to that ****hole site...
