Al Golden on WQAM 8/27

I know he hasn't won **** yet, but **** it's hard not to believe in this guy. I have to believe that he is going to get this team back to where it once was

That temple retention stat that golden mentioned is pretty amazing. The man knows how to develop nfl players and keep them there.

I just want us to kick everyone's ***. We may not win every game but I want teams crying as they head back to their locker room wishing they didn't schedule us.

Golden sounded upbeat and calm and confident
Raved about flowers and how he is developing
raved about dukes work ethic
Talked about showing hard knocks to his players on things that the players can start doing now in college so when they get to the nfl they don't have to worry about it like finishing plays. A dolphins player wasn't finishing and his coaches were on him. So golden showed it as an example.
Golden mentioned that an nfl GM told him a stat that temple players that get drafted or signed as free agents are in the top two for players that are retained by nfl teams.
