That's a fantastic quote. And it's reassuring that a UM HC finally said it.
Fans talk about swagger. NFL U. All that doesn't mean jack.
In its glory days, the thing that separated Miami from the rest of the college football world was its work ethic. No team worked harder in the offseason than Miami. In the 80s, Miami had a glorified HS gym - but it was the dedication and hard work that gave the Canes its edge. Teams literally wilted against them in the 4th quarter because of Miami's superior conditioning.
It still just infuriates me that Coker turned a well oiled, Rocky training gym machine into a picturesque, country club environment.
