Golden is obviously likening recruiting to golf's first big prize of the year, the Masters, where every year CBS delights when the leader steps to the 10th tee, so Nantz (and others before him) can pause and announce that the tournament doesn't begin until the back nine on Sunday.

Not sure this was the best time to make the analogy, considering where Rory McIlroy put his tee shot on #10 last year, while leading the tournament.
