Not that I recall reading or hearing. 'not candidate for another job, that is until he becomes one.

Sounds accurate.
 
It's starting to look like the only way for Golden to save face is to stay put. If he took the PSU job now after all the other speculation, true or not, it'll just look like he was PSU's 4th or 5th choice. If he is really serious about staying at Miami, then he should be showing up in all kinds of public places, working hard and calming the masses. Surely he can't be working on something so hard that he is oblivious to what is happening right now? He gave that impression Monday but I don't believe that for a second. The more he stays quiet the worse it is getting for him.

The time to save face was long ago. The only thing he can do now to redeem himself is win championships.

the flight is en route to fort myers, where al golden has been waiting on the tarmac since Sunday evening with a 300 page binder underneath his arm and a suitcase in the other hand. the person we heard/saw on the joe rose show, at the presser and at the HH is an impersonator, hence why it did not sound like the usual golden.
