Before I lose my ****, did Al ever come out and say "I am committed to being the head coach at Miami" even when it was clear he wasn't?
Not that I recall reading or hearing. 'not candidate for another job, that is until he becomes one.

So, let me get this straight...

I'm sure I missed a few things, but at this point, can we stop listening to anything these "insiders" and their "sources" say?
It's starting to look like the only way for Golden to save face is to stay put. If he took the PSU job now after all the other speculation, true or not, it'll just look like he was PSU's 4th or 5th choice. If he is really serious about staying at Miami, then he should be showing up in all kinds of public places, working hard and calming the masses. Surely he can't be working on something so hard that he is oblivious to what is happening right now? He gave that impression Monday but I don't believe that for a second. The more he stays quiet the worse it is getting for him.
How about we all just wait for the presser either way and save some time and aggrevation....
