Could not agree more. No sense bringing in a guy to be the 3rd/4th string RB. They will be gone again in a year. Fletcher and Lyle will be such a nasty 1/2. Very excited for them both, and praying for no injuries.

Assuming #6 isnt here next year, do we get a big back in the portal or slot Lofton in as short yardage back?

Taking Lyle and Pringle last two cycles - two sub-200lb backs - strongly suggests to me that Coach knows we need to be more explosive in the run game and get to the edge more.
