AJ McCarron a Miami fan

Miami hasn't been significantly relevant in CFB for 10 years and I still see as much U apparel here in Texas as any other out-of-state team short of Oklahoma, LSU, and - after they started winning big - Alabama. It's really amazing the foundation that Schnells through Dorsey/Reed coached teams built, having this kind of staying power after a decade of embarrassment.

I never see UM gear anymore in the Washington DC area. Used to see a ton of it in the late '80's. Also used to see a lot of Georgetown apparel, but that was because Georgetown was seen as the angry black team under John Thompson Sr. Just like UM was in football.

I live up north , so I have the undistinct pleasure of listening to Mike Francesa on my commute home. He was on with AJ talking about his career, Saban, and other crap. He said even though he grew up in Alabama, he was actually a Miami Hurricane fan growing up.

The brand is strong my friends. We will be back on top again someday.

Born and raised in northern nj... I can't stand Francesa. Hope he croaks. I don't know how you can listen to that smug mutha fcuka!

But you are completely right. The brand is real strong. Especially in northern nj and ny. Kids love Miami.

I don't listen to him, I hate his condescending holy than though attitude and quick trigger finger. My roots have similarities and currently live in N Westchester. Love the Canes, always have, always will even have a sun tan u degree
