I've followed recruiting closely, didn't realize AJL had grade issues, it really hurts.

I've followed recruiting closely, didn't realize AJL had grade issues, it really hurts.

Yeah bigtime. Other than Duke he was the one I was really excited about because of his ability on both sides of the ball. There were some early concerns about grades and then it got quiet. Usually that's not good.

Apparently he posted a facebook message saying that Coach Williams told him he was not able to get into the school and he would have to go prep. He mentioned that he is on a 2 year plan in order to feed the family. TIFWIW

The kid has major grades and transcript issues if you really thought he was getting in then you really don't follow recruiting hard enough. Maybe there was a reason Travell Dixon and Grimes are being targeted hard lately.

Well, not sure he was an EE....if he's coming in the fall then he has the spring to shore up his core classes to get into UM....that would be the difference between us and Louisville, WVU, etc....The clearinghouse problems are universal. He still has time. Maybe the two year plan was related to graduating early? Can he graduate early and go prep?
