Air Noland

I admit that I can be petty and partially enjoy seeing guys like Rashada or Noland being put through the wringer. Shoe's on the other foot now boys. ... Feel free to dislike this post. I dislike myself just for feeling this way.
Rashada yes.. cuz him and his dad played themselves.... Noland I don't think did anything screwy, and is now the one getting screwed by the school.... but, with how easy it is to transfer, I don't feel too bad for them... Noland has a 2nd chance to find a better opportunity for himself.

The post from bucknuts FYI:

** Grounded … Unfortunately, we have learned through multiple sources that true freshman quarterback Air Noland is not with the team right now for personal reasons. Now, the good news is that he has the backing of Ryan Day and is expected back at some point. More good news is that the Buckeyes just kicked off their summer conditioning program with Mickey Marotti this week.

However, a source does not expect Noland back in Columbus next week.

“No, I would be shocked if that happens,” the source said. “He’ll probably be down in Georgia for a while. Getting himself right is the most important thing here. And from a football standpoint, let’s be honest, he wasn’t going to play this year anyway. He would have been fifth on the depth chart, maybe fourth if he would have surpassed Lincoln (Kienholz). It’s funny to hear fans refer to the spring game and how Air outperformed Julian (Sayin). Yeah, well, maybe he did that day. But ask anyone on the team who was by far the better QB throughout spring. They would say Sayin over Air for sure.”

It has been an interesting few months for Noland since he joined the program in January. He is a talented QB who seems to be well-liked by his teammates. But there was also an incident in February where he was late to a meeting with the quarterbacks and running backs. Then a few days later when he and a few of his teammates were signed up to volunteer at a food drive … he was considerably late to that too. The coaches were less than pleased about both situations.

Anyway, we hope whatever he is dealing with is alleviated soon. We just wanted to update you on what we were hearing

Unless Chip goes back to his Oregon offense and I don’t see that with RBs they brought in. Norland will eventually transfer.

IMO, he isn’t built to run as much as he will need to in that offense.
