We didnt do an in home visit with him.

Even if it's true that he had that info early and has some line to Surtain, why does that matter if the kid can change (or make up) his mind any time before he signs the NLI? How many times have we heard about kids being truly undecided or changing their minds at the last minute. Surtain could have told me to my face that he's signing with Miami tomorrow but that means squat unless and until he actually does.

For some odd reason this makes me think of the South Park where Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet, with CMR obviously playing the role of R. Kelly

Chatfield said we didnt do an in home visit with him. Not sure what’s hard to believe about it.

Maybe Coburn has something to do with it. They got verification he was coming which then made Chatman available to be a SDE...Chatman did talk about playing DE in a couple of earlier interviews.
