I think two late '70's early '80's players were from Woodbridge: Tim Flanigan (Gar-Field HS, I think) and Greg Brown, LB in about '79-'82). I think Greg Brown was from Woodbridge but can't confirm it.

I really liked Flanigan, a DE who was really more of a OLB. Dynamic, tackling machine and a hitter. Brown I don't remember very well.

Being that we play in the state of Virginia every 2 im a little surprised we don't ever get any players from up there, same with the state of North Carolina.

We don't recruit the area particularly hard from what I can tell. Maybe we should change that.
