I can definitely tell you that coaches will tell you how many they are taking at your position. That creates the urgency to commit in my opinion, once spots start getting filled up.

Not questioning that. Some may be told different than others, depending on importance.

I tell kids all the time that this recruiting game is very political and you never know what's going on behind closed doors when the staffs meet. The only thing you can do is gauge your recruitment by the relationships you have with your recruiter. They can only mask the true intentions for so long. I feel bad for kids that don't have anyone in their corner during their recruitment periods.

All I know is we need more dudes on the lines. I agree that Jeudy is a must get. As is Brini, but we need more big dudes on the lines. Monsters on the lines makes every team better than they may be. I would love to see that Brahms kid as a guard here. He looks good. We have two OT, anyone heard if they are both projected at OT? What is the total for OL this cycle? Another stud DT to go with Ford is surely needed. How about pass rushers? I'd like to see an elite DE(coven?) and another stud at LB(wilder?).

Yea, coaches never says they're only taking a certain number and then continue get more to sign and he's left wondering why there is more than the number he was told.

you know what's hilarious this isn't the first time they've told a recruit how many guys they're taking at one position but keep running your mouth like you know anything. FYI I'm 2 1/2 years removed from being recruited, they do tell you how many people they're taking at your position

A lot of is have been going to hs games for years, following recruiting a lot longer than you, or even have played college sports. taking a literal interpretation to all posted articles is your first rookie mistake.

Providing recruiting information does not suddenly make you wise
