. They haven't contacted him yet.....must not be a priority. It appears they're in on a few with more national recognition. You never know.... Lots of good players in Ohio get overlooked by OSU. Note Dame, Michigan and Michigan st. also recruit that area very hard.

Not true a high percentage of studs always choose other schools. Notre Dame hit Cinci pretty hard, especially at TE.....The thing with Ohio is very good players don't always go to camps and get overlooked by services and by OSU cuz they're not a early 4*...Leveon Bell 2* played 10 minutes away in HS.....very good hs player tried to get offer coaches wasn't interested... only a few MAC offers close to signing day Michigan St. offered. He took over the backfield as a frosh never looked back. I see this happening all the time....MSU roster is filled with underrated Ohio players you see where they are in the spotlight. Michigan studs...... rb Daveon Smith, TE Jake Butt, LB Bolden, DE Taco Charlton lto name a few are all from Ohio....Ohio is prolly the 4th or 5th best state for recruiting. I wouldn't rule out nearby Kentucky, Louisville or hometown Cinci either. If he his stock continues to rise it wouldn't surprise me to see Notre Dame in the mix. He plays in one of the top football conferences in the nation GCL.....lots of schools recruit that area

Exactly.....like I said Notre Dame offer lots kids in that area........most of their bigtime TE were from Cinci......To the poster who said if a kid can play he won't get overlooked......I never said by other schools Ohio is a hot bed for national recruiting....it also doesn't mean they're not in contact.... recruiters visit low to high level recruits daily..... just don't offer in favor of other players higher on the board.

You can say that, but Kuechly went to X and none of the regional powers were on him. Guys still fly under the radar even from the X, Moeller, Colerain type of schools for various reasons.

Yep.....Matt Tennant from Moe never sniffed a offer from OSU another former BC player that went to the league.....I know for a fact it happens all the time.......LaSalle and Wayne have been the best two teams in the area it's more parity in Ohio than ever before....You also have Trottwood Madison multiple state titles always loaded with D-1 talent. Central Ohio you have Pickerington schools, Westerville, UA, Hilliard, Columbus public schools etc.... Up north you have Catholic powers St. Ignatius, St.Ed's and public powers Mentor, Solon, Glenville, Cleveland Heights etc....NE Ohio Youngstown Moony, Warren Harding, Ursiline etc...lots of recruiting grounds in Ohio kids easily go under the radar....if they're not OSU bound recruiting services don't really care....the Buckeye sites often overrate Buckeye recruits. Kinda like a kid getting a FSU offer....all of sudden he becomes a 4*...
