Nothing like collecting a little cash to throw the school a bone with a public pronouncement. That was probably a $10k edit. Lol

Btw you know how desperate that makes Florida look.

Ok on the slight % chance he did this on his own I actually respect the kid.

But assuming this was uF it is such an Q easing thing to do but I know many do it. If I’m that player I’m thinking “what’s the big deal if I go take a few visits why are they so worried”

Sucks. I'd like to see us start landing some big fish soon. Florida has huge momentum rn. I understand the timing thing with Mario but we need to get the ball rolling. "It's May" has turned into "It's June" well it's nearly July. Time to start getting our own momentum now.

Not necessarily directed at you specifically but we used to do the same thing UF is doing. Get banner names committed in the summer. Then we would see the decomittments start rolling in through September-December because real football was played. UF is going to have to hold on for dear life to a lot of these kids because the season is not going to help the sell. Some will stick, not all.

Geo’s Twitter space last night was a good listen about the anxiety on the class being what it is. He recorded it and you can listen on the LifeWalletSports Twitter.
 
Getting kids in June just means you have an extra month you need to fight to hold on to them.
 
Momentum works both ways. When they start losing games, 1 or 2 decommits will occur. And then they will look desperate trying to keep it together
