Coaching Adam Schefter: Joe Brady likely to stay in the NFL

He did. They had a unique setup where he’d call 3rd down and red zone plays
More than that .. according to Ensminger "every time we went empty .. 5 wr or bunch sets .. I said "joe it's yours" and he would call the play. Same for 3rd down and red zone situations .. he was just much better in those situations than me". So .. in CRITICAL SITUATIONS .. Brady took over. Says a lot about his skill set. Would kill it at UM.

Matt Rhule was looking for a scapegoat. Panthers have made zero progress with Rhule. QB play is a big reason why, but he’s the guy that brought in Bridgewater and Darnold instead of drafting someone.
I didn’t question his ability’s only the logic behind the noise. I’m very aware of the why lol However, excuses are just that, excuse

Good. There's better options out there.
I have to agree. At first, because of 2019, I was all in on Brady like I think a lot of us. However, as I looked at the list of possible offense of coordinators, and especially which ones still valued the run game, I think the two that I really would like and I am list these in the order that I would like them is:
Briles
Ponce

I want us to run a modern off fence, but I don’t want us to almost exclusively pass the ball. Not saying that Brady did that per se, but I do like our offense to have a serious run threat.

Bring me either one of those guys, and I think we are going to be very very very happy with our office for the next few years.
