Panic Mode is in Full Gear. We just signed a preferred walk-on at best.

If you are going to take a chance, take a chance on a Juco offensive lineman. 2 years and done. However, if this guy we just signed doesn't pan out, he is on our Books for 4-5 years.

*Like the Pick up. Athletic build, Length, Basketball background. Those guys have the best chance outside at Tackle due to footwork. ( i was one of them at LT) He will get beat up for a year or so...but since he looked bigger...I think this kid fight for reps as a sophomore. I like him more so than the SC kid but its a good start to get tackles like this. I hope we land 1 more....a Juco or Grad Transfer Tackle ..allowing both of Nelson and ElGammal to shirt.

OT- Saw Maurice Smith about 10 mins ago. Had on his FSU shirt and told me he committed (i already knew obviously). About 6'3 good frame..fsu stole a good one.

This is really shaping up to be an Al Golden class. #1 ranked to start, crap season, best assistant leaves, tons of de-commits, and loading up on guys from NJ and NY. The icing on the cake will be TS pulling a Tracy Howard to keep things just good enough for a stay from execution.

Tracy was in the class that was pretty good but yeah overall, you nailed it

I mean he was at like 3 of their camps..no offer. We got Jakai Clark for the center spot. They can come in as late as they want they are not local. They have an excuse. Also they have Telly Lockette and had Lucas campaigning for him..yea the same kid we d*ckrode for months with no shot.

Smith likely could have been locked up a LONG time ago if truly was recruited. We had the Kingsley kid. It is what it is..i dont think they liked him as much as Clark and a number of others

If it means anything, I sat row 4 from the floor at a tournament he was at last year. He’s 6-6 or so and probably 275+.

I was telling my buddy that kid should play LT because he plays basketball like a football player.

Big, aggressive kid. Not a special athlete but that tournament had NBA kids who will make most look like ordinary athletes.
