The optics will be terrible. If the hometown kid, who would have more reason to take the job than anyone turns us down then how in the **** are you going to pull a top coach with no ties to the program. Add to the fact that our recruiting is pretty terrible right now and would only get worse with another year of uncertainty. I personally think Mario ends up here. But, if it does fall through and they keep manny it would be the equivalent of program suicide.

Manny should have been fired, and we should have been in discussion with other coaches as well as Cristobal. Frenk is doing exactly what Blake James did when he hired Diaz.

Miami clearly isn't Mario's dream job as much as we've been told. He hasn't handled this professionally at all imo. He's stringing along 2 universities when he's had weeks to figure this **** out. Seems like a drama queen.
