Beat NC St. In 9 minutes.

Not a must win but let's keep the mo going.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but with FSU winning today all we have to do is beat FSU Saturday and we are in the title game no matter what happens tonight.

Couple of walks for us in the first. But nothing doing.

Nc st one hit but nothing doing.

Top of the 2nd one out walk to Batista then he gets picked off at 2nd.

This pitcher has throw 22 pitches in the month of May and we couldn't be helping him out anymore. Heyward walks on the very next pitch. Dumb Batista.
 
5th walk in an inning and 2/3

Runners on 1st and 2nd two out. Batista really boned us.

Chester grounds out. Pathetic effort by the offense through 2 innings.

Our hitting is starting to concern me. We are still winning games but not scoring a lot of runs recently.

Yes hitting has slowed down the past few games but the fielding has not. 2 nice plays in the field already.

He didnt get picked off he got thrown out trying to steal 2nd.

Correct. My bad

NC St. Pitcher has thrown 55 pitches through 2 innings. We need to score this inning. This is this pitchers last inning.

This is correct. NC State has been eliminated and it comes down to the winner of Miami-FSU.

Probably should avoid posting anymore during the game tonight.

Error by Chester. Then a single. Then a bunt and every Miami player looked lost so a run scores and no out was got.

1st and 2nd no one out. 2-1 canes.

Wow. Another bunt single that Garcia couldn't field cleanly.

Base hit. 2-2 bases still loaded no outs.

Bases loaded no outs.

Double. 4-2 nc st.

Ground out RBI. 5-2 NC St.
Infield single. Runners on the corners. One out.

Garcia is pulled. Gave up 9 hits the most he's given up all year.

Cabezas is in.

Got the runner on 3rd in a ground out and run down.

Finally inning over.

Got 5 innings left to get the lead back. Plenty of time.

Well they called it an infield hit.
Batista gets a run in.

2 out. 5-3 runners on 2nd 3rd.

NC St makes pitching change. Maybe they will run out of arms before they get to the end of the game.

Wild pitch. 5-4 runner on 3rd 2 outs.

Inning over. Got 2 back.

5-4 bottom 5th.

Why skipper didn't send Chester on the throw to second when he is willing to go with a steal of second risking the 3rd out...I don't get.
 
NC State has Rafael Palmeiro's son (Preston Palmeiro) and Alex Rodriguez's nephew (Joe Dunand - went to Gulliver)...two guys with Miami connections.

Did we not recruit these guys out os HS? Were they not good enough?

Just asking out of curiosity...

If we recruited every kid with Miami connections we would have 90 kids on the roster.
