The team is probably better off winning the first game and losing the 2nd game. Not sure that 3 tough games in 3 days will benefit us going into the NCAA's. I'm not rooting for that to happen though.
Although I see the logic in what you're saying, I still think there's an outside shot of landing a #1 seed if we make a strong showing and beat Duke in the ACCTCG. There are going to be a bunch of highly ranked teams that lose in their conference tournaments, just look at the Top 10 this past week for evidence.
And beyond all that... it's
tournament time. The mindset changes, the effort changes, everything goes up tenfold in intensity. Now is when you start playing every game like it's the last, because for some of our opponents, it IS the last game of the season. I'd rather go into the Big Dance knowing we're at full throttle, than having held something back in the ACCT and not knowing what team will show up.
