ACC reviewing 8 game schedule

If the ACC commissioner buys into this rant from Syracuse' AD then I seriously question the business knowledge in Swofford. Miami vs. FSU is one of the 5 all-time college football rivalries. I guarantee that the ACC this year received huge ratings when Miami and FSU were both ranked heading into their prime time matchup. Having Miami and FSU in the same division is retarded as well. That's the whole reason why Miami was brought over so that they could have Miami FSU in the ACC title game. The fact that Miami hasn't lived up to the promise is irrelevant.

As far as hard schedules go. If you're good you'll handle your schedule and the voters will see it. Coaches like Les Miles can ***** all he wants, but if you're truly the number one team in the nation then you'll handle said opponent every week and it also makes recruiting somewhat simpler when you can sell a recruit that you'll be playing Bama, Florida, etc. every year. In short, **** Syracuse and their AD. Become relevant in football, then you can start making demands.

So the Cuse AD will really have a cow when the ACCCG is moved to Orlando in a few years once the $100m renovations are completed to the Citrus Bowl. The game bombed in Tampa becuase there was nothing to do, But moving to Orlando with Disney world and universal around the corner its like a pre bowl game. Not to mention playing in 75 degrees is better than playing in 35 degrees in Charlotte, NC. Especially with UM on the rise and FSU back in form.
