We beat them last year without Duke (most of the game), in their house and Morris throwing 4 INTs.
 
Well, we sure can't win the Coastal without Duke. I am sure we can win it with Duke. Randy Johnson is the only Duke I care about.

We should win this game going away if we can decent play from our qb and dts. Especially if we are relatively healthy. They have a few nice players, but we have too many experienced play makers returning this year.
 
We've given up over 1,000 yards to Duke in 2012 and 2013. I'll believe that we're so much better than they are when I see it.
 
If our DT play is average, our D will be good. If our DT play is good, our D will be top 35.

This year we win the Coastal with a Thursday night win in Blacksburg. Duke and VT battle for the second spot.
 
I don't know what to believe anymore. I know one thing is that whatever we are doing on Defense has to change. I have not ever coached football, but I have run/managed operations. I believe that a good manager analyzes the talent and then executes to maximize the talent on hand. Despite the Shapiro thing, you cannot convince me that Duke recruited better talent or has more talent currently than UM did. I really thought we had a shot last year, so I have no clue how the team will perform. I know one thing, the drive back from Orlando after the bowl game still pains me.

The thing is, Carolina had a true fresh running back and a new dual threat QB.

Those two guys getting experience is what will make UNC good this year. Both are electric high 4 star players.

the only reason Carolina was in the game was 1. Morris threw 4 int. he was trying to force crap. 2. Eric Ebron 3. players making huge mistake in the secondary Highsmith was so lost it wasn't even funny.

Why? Because Duke can't just go find another big slow white guy to truck our defense?
