So you think LSU defense is overrated? LSU has one of the best defenses in the country every single year. Scar, has a decent defense as well with one of the best DE's we've seen in a long time. Scar suffers more from a garbage offense than a bad defense.

South Carolina has the most overrated defense in the country..... everybody on their defense aside from Clowney is a JAG.

LSU's defense is overrated too, nothing special, they will be back to being dominant again but this year they're more hype then substance.

I'm willing to bet LSU defense in a down year is still a top 25 defense.

i agree but thats mainly b/c there are only like 10 teams Max this year, that i can think of w/ a legit defense.

But even out of that 10 there is probably only 5 that can win a game even if the offense is struggling and Miami is one of em.... I dont think LSU falls in that category this year.

Aaron Murray has earned the right to be the hypesman front runner IMO.

Marcus Mariota is the far and away front runner, and it isn't close right now.

I have a theory on this. (Does that surprise anyone?? )

I call it the "Andre Ware Curse." It just seems that Heisman voters tend to shy away from QBs who put up crazy numbers playing in a system that has previously produced QBs who've put up crazy numbers. Every Oregon QB in the past decade has looked like a world beater at some point. What makes Mariota any different than the 3 guys who came before him? Again, I think this scares too many Hypesman voters.

And of course, Mariota plays college football in Oregon, which might as well be the northwest province of Pakistan to the eyes of most heisman voters. lol

Aaron Murray is an avg qb with weapons. He isnt some sort of beast...opposing dcs arent up at night afraid of him...uga has two big time backs and a big ol...and he is like 3rd int he pecking order imo for them. But.......will be hyped by ESPN...bcause well he plays in the sec and they need another guy/team to hype...for all the sec matchups on a weekly basis..I dont think ive seen a throw from Murray this yr that made me say/..."**** he dropped a dime"...ive seen uga 3 times this yr.

Stephen Morris over Aaron Murray by far....i could care lass about sec passing records...hes started since his fresh year..and sec offenses routinely are terrible...i mean David Greene is atop of the list.

Looked like tons of recievers were WIDE open every play for both teams. Seriously, if our D ever looked like UGA's or LSU's, people would be ready to crucify Coach D

Most probably, but Morris gets an incomplete so far. We will see in the next two games.
