A young player who is starting to flash…

So far, the 2025 class is looking better than its #13 ranking. Lowe, Toney (criminally underrated), Wiley, Gilbert and Fitzgerald (STs) -- possibly Schott, Gilbert and Moore -- are all going to be key contributors this season. In recent years with our CB depth issues, Slimeto and Ewald might have made that list, too.
Lowe is going to be a monster he’s going to walk past Lightfoot and take his spot easily. Had high hopes for Lightfoot man idk bruh. Once you get passed by TF then the next class they recruit your position again you are in serious trouble. Him and Ray Ray getting passed up 100% and it’s tough to bounce back from, pause

They play different roles, but I hear you. You were one of the OGs of talent talent talent. Never stopped posting about the fact we just don't have the dudes, and the reason Bama was winning champions every year was they were stacking 4/5-stars every year at every position. Bust rates are high, even Butch had a 50/50 bust rate. So you have to expect half the kids won't pan out. If Lightfoot gets passed up, that's a GOOD SIGN that we're stacking.

Out of the 2024 DEs, Blount was my favorite. Rudolph has always been my favorite of the 3 lean pass rushing DEs (Lightfoot, Pickett and Rudolph). McConathy was my least favorite but he had crazy crazy production. Wouldn't shock me at all if only 2 or 3 end up being high-level Canes starters. No matter what Lightfoot does -- and I still believe he can be a great one, don't get me wrong -- I do think his commitment helped flipping Scott. And he could end up being the most important commit of that whole class when all is said and done.

The nfl draft told us talent was end all be all. I think a lot of old school fans thought other wise. But I remember growing up seeing canes dominate the nfl, and I remember thinking to myself these dudes ares super talented. It wasn’t the strength coach it wasn’t the HC it was them, someone found them and got them into the program. That’s what it was

Lofton has been performing at an All-time level.

He's like a mixture of Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Gates, Shannon Sharpe, Travis Kelce, Lorenzo Neal, Larry Centers, Earl Campbell & Adrian Peterson, all wrapped into one.
Good pull on Larry Centers. Very underrated do it all, Swiss Army knife type of half back.

Meh. If Lofton were a real stud he would’ve balled big time last year with 100 catches and at least 1000 yards. He’s already close to JAG status.

Play Schott.
